Senior/Lead QA Engineer

About the opportunity

We are seeking an experienced QA Senior/Lead Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Web UI testing, cross-browser compatibility, API testing, and performance testing. You will lead the quality assurance efforts, ensuring our software products meet the highest standards of quality and user experience.

The team is working on an AI based application to develop and  support business processes for different business areas.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Web UI testing tools like Selenium or Puppeteer.
• Expertise in Cross-Browser Testing (e.g., BrowserStack or similar).
• Solid experience in API Testing, including designing and automating test cases.
• Hands-on experience in Performance Testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of security testing best practices.
• Experience with containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• English level: Upper-Intermediate

Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Strategy
• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans.
• Lead QA activities, including test case design, execution, and defect reporting.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define quality goals.
  Web UI Testing
• Perform Web UI testing using tools like Selenium or Puppeteer.
• Automate test scenarios to ensure robust regression testing.
  Cross-Browser Testing
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure compatibility.
• Utilize tools such as BrowserStack to simulate real-world scenarios.
  API Testing
• Design, develop, and execute API tests using tools like Postman, REST-assured, or similar.
• Verify data integrity, performance, and functionality of APIs.
  Performance Testing
• Perform performance and load testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Identify bottlenecks and provide recommendations for optimization.
  Reporting and Documentation
• Prepare detailed test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, plans, and procedures.
