Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who can effectively manage software development projects while also possessing strong business analysis skills. This role requires a process-oriented leader who ensures structured project execution while being capable of stepping into a Product Owner or Product Manager roles if needed. The ideal candidate is highly organized, capable of enforcing project governance, structuring workflows, and maintaining documentation. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, enabling seamless collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of software development projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Implement and enforce project management best practices, methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Hybrid), and governance frameworks.
  • Define, structure, and optimize project workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and documentation.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
  • Write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and manage product backlogs.
  • Step into a Product Owner role if necessary, prioritizing backlog items and aligning development with business goals.
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring clarity of objectives and priorities.
  • Manage cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration among developers, QA engineers, designers, and DevOps.
  • Track and measure project performance, ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and executive leadership.
  • Set up, control, and maintain internal PMO processes, ensuring alignment with company objectives and operational efficiency.
  • Standardize project management documentation, templates, and reporting mechanisms to ensure consistency across projects.
  • Monitor and continuously improve internal project governance, compliance, and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the PMO.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance process maturity, optimize resource allocation, and improve overall project execution standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Must-Have
  • 5+ years of experience in project management within software development.
  • Strong expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and SDLC.
  • Experience working with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Proven ability to set up and enforce structured project workflows and documentation standards.
  • Strong risk management, issue tracking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in business analysis, including requirement gathering, documentation, and backlog management.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
  • Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, capable of fostering alignment across teams.
  • Ability to mediate between business and technical teams, ensuring shared understanding.
  • Experience managing external stakeholders and customer relationships.
  • Ability to drive team motivation and maintain high engagement levels.
