Senior MSP Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior MSP Engineer to provide comprehensive technical support and infrastructure management for our diverse client base. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and security of our clients’ IT environments, encompassing a wide range of technologies.
Please be advised that the working hours for this position are approximately 17.00 pm – 02.00 am CET.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an MSP engineer, L2/L3 technical support Engineer, senior system administrator or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure technologies.
- Proficiency in Windows systems. MacOS, and Linux, will be a plus.
- Solid networking skills, including DNS, DHCP, VPN and routing.
- Strong experience with network devices such as routers, gateways, switches, and Wi-Fi access points.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with ticketing systems.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Network+, etc.) are a plus.
Responsibilities:
Microsoft 365 Administration:
- Licensing, security configuration, integrations, audit.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and other M365 applications.
- Implementing and maintaining M365 security best practices.
Microsoft Azure Management:
- Azure Active Directory administration.
- Monitor and maintain Azure resources.
Operating System Support:
- Provide expert-level support for Windows (client and server). MacOS, and Linux operating systems are a plus.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Perform system updates and patch management.
Networking and Infrastructure:
- Set up, manage and maintain internal network infrastructure, including routers, gateways, switches, and Wi-Fi access points.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
- Implement and maintain network security measures.
Printer/Scanner Support:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot printer/scanner hardware and software.
- Resolve printer/scanner connectivity and printing issues.
Client Communication and Documentation:
- Provide timely and professional support to clients via ticketing system, phone, email.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
Proactive Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Build and maintain a monitoring system.
- Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system operation.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
